O tempo de festa e refrigério, comunhão, partilha e oração
em Póvoa de Atalaia - 10 a 16 de Agosto de 2009 !

O ano passado foi muito bom! Desde trabalho comunitário na Aldeia [ jardinagem nas traseiras da Escola ], à Festa da Amizade [ preparação do Ringue da Junta de Freguesia para a festa à noite :) com ranchos, crepes, artesanato... ], aos workshops [ grafitti ] e aos seminários [ Projecto Sewa-Ashram na India, Pobreza zero - Oikos, Comércio Justo - CooPlaneta, Agricultura Autosuficiente - Permacultura, Acção & Intervenção Ambiental - GAIA ... cozinhar em forno solar... ]

Ao mexer num dossier com panfletos e mapas que vou guardando de vários locais ou cidades que visito...ou onde vou..dei com esta revista que trouxe em 2004 de Brighton em UK; ohh como tenho saudades desta cidade à beira mar plantada e de toda a sua animação artística e cultural... das Lanes [ a baixa lá do sitio ] com as suas ruazinhas labirinticas... e da Clock Tower, ponto de encontro para muita gente... de Hove, com a zona ao longo do mar para caminhar e dos Piers mar a dentro...mas mais do que tudo da sensação de quando cheguei lá a 1ªa vez e sai da estação do comboio, olhei pela rua abaixo e vi a àgua, o mar, e disse para comigo: " - Estou em casa! ". Sim, que isto de não ter àgua por perto tem muito que lhe diga... tem tudo a ver connosco, especialmente se cresceste no Barreiro com o rio Tejo à tua porta praticamente... e habituado a ir à linda Arrábida para umas braçadas ou somente um passeio..como diz o próprio título da capa da revista... é um Estilo de Vida...A WAY OF LIFE...que só quem mora e vive em cidades como Brighton ou o Barreiro sabe descrever! Disfruta o teu pedacinho de àgua, seja ele qual for, mar, rio ou simplesmente um lago no jardim perto da vossa casita !...
E deixem o vosso parecer ;).

A Whole Lot More Than Forgiveness

When the Bible tells us that Christ came to “redeem mankind” it offers a whole lot more than forgiveness. To simply forgive a broken man is like telling someone running a marathon, “It’s okay that you’ve broken your leg. I won’t hold that against you. Now finish the race.” That would be cruel, to leave him disabled that way. No, there is much more to our redemption. The core of Christ’s mission is foretold in Isaiah 61:

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. (v. 1)

The Messiah will come, he says, to bind up and heal, to release and set free. What? Your heart. Christ comes to restore and release you, your soul, the true you. This is the central passage in the entire Bible about Jesus, the one he chooses to quote about himself when he steps into the spotlight in Luke 4 and announces his arrival. So take him at his word—ask him in to heal all the broken places within you and unite them into one whole and healed heart. Ask him to release you from all bondage and captivity, as he promised to do. As George MacDonald prayed, “Gather my broken fragments to a whole . . . Let mine be a merry, all-receiving heart, but make it a whole, with light in every part.” But you can’t do this at a distance; you can’t ask Christ to come into your wound while you remain far from it. You have to go there with him.

E está de volta... quem? A nossa princesa.. a Tarita! Já passaram alguns meses da ida a Cuba, mas só agora tive a oportunidade de dar uma salatada ao Blogue para actualizações... de qualquer forma, ela foi [yes!] conseguiu ir até ao Centro Internacional de Reabilitação Neurológica, foi-lhe finalmente diagnosticado qual o seu problema - Síndrome de Rett ... mas agora por cá...continua a precisar e muito de TODA a nossa ajuda! Pois os pais da Catrina, estão a tentar continuar por cá o que iniciaram por lá... os custos foram muito elevados e vão continuar a ser, por isso peço-vos a todos que não passem pelo Blogue da Princesa Tarita, como também possam deixar por aqui as vosssa sugestões e ideias para juntarmos todo o apoio financeiro necessário...tal como já o fizeram há um ano atrás [ o meu MUITO OBRIGADO à Gigi, à Nice e ao Dominó e à Zarah...e depois disso a todos que colaboram e se juntaram... ]

Agora precisamos de mais artistas,designers, fotografos e amigos...
E SEMPRE de quem queira ajudar!
